We are now on v0.1.0! 

I've chosen to move to this version as all of the core features that had hoped to add to the demo are now implemented, with decorating being the final major addition.


Of course, I will still be balancing and bug-fixing, as well as adding a bit more content here and there, but there won't likely be any major gameplay additions. My attention will largely be moving toward the full game for that, so be sure to join the Patreon if you want to play future updates before release!

With the addition of a major new feature will surely come plenty of bugs, so let me know if you encounter any via the community tab, our Discord, or anywhere else! I check comments everywhere.

CHANGELOG:

  • Removed the Secondary Storage. You can temporarily still access it by interacting with the bottom-right corner of your bedroom. This will be removed in the future, so please take your items out of secondary storage.
  • Removed the old processing and decorative platforms on the farm/ranch. Any objects placed this way will be lost, so pick them up before updating!
  • Added a proper decorating system. All starting objects in the home can now be moved.
  • Laid the groundwork for future house upgrade/expansion possibilities
  • Added a ton of new decorative items (there are now 60+ in total so far). Most can be bought from the general store, and many can be bought from a new farm visitor.
  • Updated placeable object description missing space
  • Removed the old placeable object tutorial
  • Increased starting inventory size by 2
  • Fixed inventory sometimes opening on map load
  • Reduced chance for crows to eat crops by 33%
  • Removed the effect of the Crow-Cursed Tombstone, as it was easily abuseable and caused bugs
  • Fixed some bugs relating to crow chance (new saves only)
  • Added a new "Decor" item category (new saves only)
  • Fixed Dice fishing UI layering issue
  • Changed sludge blast color
  • Added better lighting to farm path
  • Updated more interactable object UIs
  • Added touch/mouse buttons for crafting quantity increase/decrease
  • Fixed fullscreen/windowed options resetting
  • Fixed a bug that allowed overburdened players to deposit non-food items in the fridge, which can't be withdrawn afterwards without triggering this overburdened scene again
  • Fixed a bug that caused the tax penalty to be failed every week, rather than waiting wevery 2 weeks to check after the Tax Man leaves
  • Fixed the moon event being able to trigger while fishing
  • Animated the Gatekeeper
